Social events at the clinic"I recently got a letter from Park Attwood announcing the start of a new support group at the clinic called Oasis which focuses on living creatively with illness by combining counselling and art therapy in a group setting, at the Clinic. I had been offered various support groups since my diagnosis but had no interest in sitting around bemoaning the miseries of breast cancer. However this looked different. It is. I call it my health promotion group and it is a space in which profound learning can take place. It is helping me to make sense of my experience and live much better with my illness."
