what we don’t do
We don’t treat:
- acute physical or mental conditions that require specialist services, unless those services can be provided locally (such as Macmillan services)
- acute mental illnesses that require specialist services
- active substance misuse/dependency
- profound learning disability that requires a high level of specialist care
the medical team
The clinic is staffed by experienced practitioners - a committed team of conventionally qualified doctors and nurses who have had further training in anthroposophic medicine, supported by a team of qualified therapists (eurythmy, rhythmical massage, hydrotherapy, art therapy and counselling). Click here for a fact sheet which gives details of the qualifications and experience of Park Attwood’s staff.
Most doctors are GP-trained; all are registered with the General Medical Council. They recommend the treatment programme and prescribe therapies and medication. Regular team meetings ensure treatment is integrated to a high standard.
